The National Roll Call 2012 project seeks to expand this grassroots effort to make Veterans Day on every campus a special time of appreciation and reflection.  While 2011 sought to honor of those who have fallen in the OEF/OIF theaters following the 10th anniversary of 9-11, Roll Call 2012 takes a broader approach celebrating those who have served and are serving, as well as the fallen.

There are only two requirements to participate in the National Roll Call 2012:

First, agree to participate in a nationwide simultaneous “minute of silence” at 11:00 a.m. pacific standard time, Monday, November 12th; the official holiday. Pacific standard time is used so that this can be a truly nationwide event.

Second, conduct a Roll Call of names as determined by an internal committee at your school.  For the Roll Call you may read names of those living or deceased, of any or all eras of service, and as many or as few names as you desire.  The structure, duration, and setting of your ceremony is entirely up to your school.  (Note: For the schools who asked to repeat the OEF/OIF recognition, an updated listing of names of the fallen will be provided.)

To participate in Roll Call 2012 take the Pledge by completing this form.  PLEDGE
